Do You Accept Insurance?
Do you accept insurance is one of the most common questions we receive, and we’re happy to clarify.
At this time, our clinic is not in-network with any insurance companies, and we do not bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans do offer reimbursement for acupuncture treatments — and we’re here to make that process as simple as possible.
How reimbursement works
If your plan includes acupuncture benefits, you may be able to receive partial or full reimbursement directly from your insurance provider after paying for your visit.
Before starting care, we recommend contacting your insurance company to ask:
- Do I have acupuncture benefits?
- Do I need a referral or pre-authorization?
- How many visits are covered?
- Is there a limit per visit or per year?
- Is coverage based on a dollar amount or number of sessions?
- Can I see an out-of-network provider?
Every plan is different, so getting details directly from your insurer helps you avoid surprises.
What we provide
We’re happy to support your reimbursement process.
Just let us know at your visit that you’d like a superbill, and we will email one to you after each treatment. Superbills include all the information insurance companies typically require to process out-of-network claims.
HSA and FSA cards
Many patients choose to pay for treatments using Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.
These accounts are often designed to cover healthcare services like acupuncture, allowing you to use pre-tax funds for your treatments.
If you plan to use an HSA or FSA card, you can simply bring it with you and use it as you would a regular credit card at the time of your visit.
