Joy has been practicing Chinese Medicine for over 11 years. She graduated from the Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She graduated from a joint Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in China, where she worked in the Hubei Provincial hospital and the Wuhan No.1 hospital. Joy has extensive research experience and has published papers in China.
Joy received her second Masters of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from University of East- West Medicine then received her California state Acupuncture licence and the NCCAOM certification.
Currently Joy teaches the clinical Level II lab and Acupuncture II at University of East-West Medicine. She is enrolled in the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) program at Five Branches University.
